The mission of the Division of Finance and Operations at Jackson State University is to support the overall mission of teaching, research and public service through support services which promote efficiency and effectiveness in the administration of the University's financial/business affairs, facility operations, economic development and auxiliary enterprises. I bring over 15 years of experience in the fields of telecommunications, information/communication technology, management consulting, investment management, and non-profit leadership/management. Beginning in July-2004, Mr. Stovall assumed the position of Senior Vice President, Finance & Operations for Jackson State University (JSU) in Jackson, MS. In that role, Mr. Stovall has responsibility for the finances, facilities, construction, auxiliaries, economic development and strategy implementation for a university with over 8,000 students and a budget of over $90M.
